Alice Hollingsworth-Treasurer
A native of Lewisburg, Alice is the daughter of Gwen and Gar Clingman. Alice and her husband, Luther, are the proud parents of 5 children and 4 grandchildren. Alice retired in October of 2016 after a 43 year career in banking where she worked in consumer lending, was a Mortgage Specialist, VP of Mortgage Lending and VP-Manager of the WV Market. Although she has always been active in her community, after retirement she concentrated on volunteer work. Currently, Alice serves on the Shepherd’s Center Board of Directors, participates in the Friendly Caller program, and delivers Gwen’s Meals. Additionally, she is a volunteer at Greenbrier Valley Theater. As a lifelong member of Lewisburg United Methodist Church, she has served on various committees and as a liturgist and greeter. Currently, she is the Treasurer of the Wesley Sunday School Class, a member of the Finance Committee and the Hospitality Committee. Additionally, she serves as a member of the Connect group, participates in the Blessing Buddy program and volunteers for the Snacks and Packs program. Alice is a member of Preceptor Alpha Lambda Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority in which she currently serves as Treasurer. Alice works part time at the Ford Law Firm and for Greenbrier Greeters.
Alice is honored to serve on the Greenbrier County Health Alliance Board of Directors. It is her strong belief that all people in Greenbrier County be given the tools and opportunities to obtain better health.
Katie Ickes - Treasurer
Katie C Ickes serves as Secretary for the Alliance and has had a varied career encompassing health education, economic development and programming in WV. Highlights include developing a Growth Mindset curriculum which was taught to all 6th graders in the county for over 7 years. A variation of the program is currently used for Fruits of Labor’s recovery program. She served as Executive Director of the Greater GreenbrierChamber of Commerce with a membership of 400 and programming to help businesses thrive. She worked with regional Economic Development entities to conduct entrepreneurial competitions and education. As the Program Director for Main Street White Sulphur Springs, she garnered over $2 million in grants to start the streetscaping and to create the Midland Trail Park. Earlier in life , after serving as a Tri Sigma sorority field representative throughout the US, Katie worked in Charleston as a health education program director for the American Lung Association. Volunteering with GCHA brings her full circle to an organization with a mission impacting positive health, prevention and community outcomes. She also currently serves as a Board member of Seed Sowers Recovery non profit, a director of the Mindset for Success for Fruits of Labor, a leader of Unity in the Spirit prayer group, as well as working with the community outreach and children’s ministries at Bethesda church and as a member of Greenbrier Artists and Old White Garden Club.
